Family Volunteer Day (Concord)

Families with children are invited to a special volunteer opportunity at the Concord warehouse. Family Volunteer Day will be held on Sunday, April 16th (Easter). We have two volunteer shifts available, registration is required:

 

Sunday, April 16, 2017: 9:30am-11:30am
Sunday, April 16, 2017: 1:00pm-3:00pm

 

This unique opportunity allows parents and grandparents to bring children as young as five years old to volunteer at the Food Bank. Normally, the minimum age required to volunteer is 11 years. This is a great introduction for families who are interested in learning more about the Food Bank and who want to help make a difference. Volunteers will bag or box fresh produce to help those in need in our community, take a tour, and participate in an advocacy project.
