Walnut Creek Community Service Day

Roll up your sleeves and be prepared to volunteer on Saturday, October 13th at Community Service Day 2018 in Walnut Creek! There will be a variety of projects available, including a neighborhood food drive.  The Food Bank will provide bags and flyers for you in advance. First kick off the day at Heather Farm Park at 7:30am with a pancake breakfast. After breakfast, you will go door to door in your neighborhood to collect food for the Food Bank. Then bring the bags of food back to the park where we will sort and box the food donations. This is a great project for scouts, church groups, school children, neighborhood groups and anyone else that would like to help collect food for our neighbors in need.
