Like blues? Like being a good person? Guess what? Here’s a chance to do both.
The Monkey House in Berkeley is putting on a blues jam to benefit the Food Bank of Contra Costa and Solano. The event hosts are asking EVERYONE — both jammers and attendees — to bring a cash donation of at least $20 and canned food (not expired). The house is graciously waving its fee for this benefit. Please give whatever you can to help our community.
This is an open jam, although lining up your jam slot is highly recommended, given space considerations. This is welcome to all levels – the goal is to have fun and support our community. To participate or attend, see details on the organizer’s Facebook event.
