Hannah is a 2024 Speaker Series graduate and a hunger-fighting volunteer at the Food Bank of Contra Costa and Solano. Hannah enjoys volunteering at the distribution sites across Martinez because it gives her the opportunity to serve and interact with those in the neighborhood in which she resides. Hannah’s past includes extensive volunteer work with those experiencing homelessness. She assisted with hosting a Winter Warming shelter at a local church and has accompanied multiple street outreach groups to deliver hot meals, clothing, hygiene and words of hope and encouragement.
Hannah’s lived experience with hunger, poverty, and homelessness fuels her compassion to continue to serve those in need. She became a CAP member in 2024 and is excited to learn and use her voice to advocate for those experiencing food insecurity.
When Hannah isn’t volunteering, she works as a caregiver or goes on adventures with her dog, Buddy. She also enjoys cooking and learning new recipes.
